Description: This Huntington Beach Playhouse Production is set in Louisiana. Truvy’s Beauty Salon for Southern ladies is the center of the community's social world. It is where secrets are revealed, gossip relayed, and advice dispensed. Drama, humor and a range of emotions of the beauty shop women are explored in this play that's especially appealing to females. The script was also written as a popular movie production with Daryl Hannah, Sally Fields and Julia Roberts, to name a few.
