In the Huntington Beach Academy for Performing Arts Production, the heroine Charity Hope Valentine dances, laughs and cries her way through a series of whirlwind romances, set to the backdrop of 1960s New York. If My Friends Could See Me Now, the choral extravaganza Rhythm of Life and the classic Hey, Big Spender, plus a script by Neil Simon and music by Cy Coleman capture the essence, the sounds and rhythm of New York City.
