Holiday Musical – Radio Hour

Description: The students of Huntington Beach Academy for the Performing Arts, (APA), would like to invite you to attend their upcoming production of "1940's Radio Hour" A Holiday Musical. The spirit of that bygone era when the world was at war and pop music meant " Strike Up the Band" and Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" (both are in the show) is accurately captured as the harassed producer copes with a drunken lead singer, script girl who wants a chance in front of the mike, a second banana who dreams of singing a ballad, and the trumpet player who chooses a fighter plane over Glenn Miller. Every song is a 1940's Standard Hit!
