Civil War Days (Sept. 1st & 2nd)
Description: The annual two-day event includes cannon blasts, fiddlers, banjos, flutes, drums, festive costumes, troop encampments and booths where hoop skirts and military period costumes were sold. The encampment set-ups usually begin on Friday afternoons. You will find authentic costumes of the era, men, women and children participate in the re-enactments, including the gun battles. Breakfast at the Huntington Harbour Yacht Club
Description: This bi-monthly breakfast is designed to introduce O.C. residents to the Huntington Harbour Yacht Club. Come and meet our commodore, staff officers and members. A nice buffet style breakfast is served at the low cost of $10. Boat ownership is not required for membership!

5K/2K Walk for the Animals
Description: The Orange County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (OCSPCA) is proud to announce the 10th Annual 5K/2K Walk for the Animals. Well-mannered dogs, on leashes, are encouraged to attend. No puppies under six months. Activities following the walk include entertainment, sponsor and vendor booths, silent auction and door prizes.
All funds raised from the Walk help support the organization’s programs including veterinary care for sick and injured animals, subsidized spay/neuter, feral cat rescue, cruelty prevention through humane education in the classroom, and pet-assisted therapy.
